These cloches are beautifully made, elegant in black and made of very-good quality chicken-wire type patterned metal open mesh. Lovely to look at, blend in with plants and other cloches, stack nicely with rings atop each one to carry. A perfect way to protect plants that are beginning to grow and/or fit in the space(13.5" x 15.7" ) of the cloche. I anchor them with very good quality stainless steel landscape staples fromAmazon that are sturdy and 4" long and won't rust. Both the cloches and the high quality landscape staples are well made and worth the higher price. You really do get what you pay for with these types of items.
