Three older cats seem to like this cat food. Every morning they get wet food from a can then this is given to them for the remainder of the day when the wet food is eaten. My cat generally likes the Fish Flavor, but doesn’t eat as much or enthusiastically since the kibble size is now smaller. The ingredients are fine without legumes, wheat, soy, etc.If you agree call manufacturer.Number on bag.My cat really likes this food!Update: about 1/2 way through our second bag my cat started to have irritation on her skin again, which is a thing we've experienced with a few different foods. We've had to discontinue use.I started feeding the chicken flavor to my cats about a month ago and it's been good so far. No digestive upset and they seem to like the flavor. It's a good option for our cat that's allergic to fish. Please make more non fish flavors!Inception cat food is wonderful! My 10 year old fur bucket was not doing well with Nulo brand (we had switched to that because it's very difficult to find a sulfate-free [kitty breaks out in tummy rash due to an apparent sulfate allergy], small kibble dry cat food), and Nulo fit the bill until kitty started having weird hiccuping/increase vomiting/obviously gastric upset. I suspected it was the probiotics that dry cat food brands seem to be so overly obsessed with in their formulas lately (a new trend).Searching for a sulfate-free, probiotic-free, small sized kibble free dry cat food brought us to Inception - kitty likes both the fish and chicken just fine, and after a few weeks he no longer has all the gastric issues he had developed with the probiotic dry food. Thanks, Inception! Please don't change your ingredients! Not happy with the last 2 bags I purchased. There was never this much residue in bottom of other bags.My cat has a pretty sensitive stomach and a lot of popular food brands will result in her throwing up. She doesn’t have any official allergies but I’ve been paying attention to the ingredients listed in different types of cat food and through trial and error have found some brands of food, such as Inception, that she can eat for months on end without ever losing her appetite and without beginning to throw up frequently. I really appreciate that this food uses higher quality ingredients such as proteinates (which are more nutritionally available and able to be digested easier) instead of using cheaper alternatives like sulfates. I feel good giving my cat this food because its safe enough where I don’t have to worry about my cat throwing up several times a week (or at all- for many months) while also not breaking the bank since this brand isn’t as expensive as some of the similar quality brands that I’ve found she’s okay with eating. I’ll continue being a loyal customer of this brand for as long as they keep up with the same recipe and consistent pricing. Was thrilled to find a high quality grain free cat food that I could still afford to feed them.
