**For this review please keep in mind I am Beginner at growing indoors and I only grow veggies and not cannabis.** To start with, mine arrived well packaged, all components were present, and upon testing everything worked as expected. Instructions and setup are very simple, and setting up in my 3x3x6 growing tent took maybe 15 minutes and that was because I was adding a power strip and timer to my setup. **Just a note to the manufacturer a power cable longer than 4ft , in my opinion would be better.** The light is well ventilated and does not seem to run that hot. Having the included thermometer was nice because I was able to see that if I closed up the tent all the way, the inside temp. would reach about 86 degrees. (this is with no ventilation fan, only a small fan blowing on my plants) For me this is perfect because during the winter my basement is about 55 degrees. The light output of this 1500W LED is awesome. Currently I have two pepper plants growing with the kratky method and several other pepper seedlings germinating or just sprouting and they love this light. I did have to raise the light all the way up because the leaves started to curl, I think the heat energy was too much and they weren't used to it yet. (The plants were orginally started under a 500W HPS Light). I think if I would have bought the Phlizon 600W I would have been fine, but now that my plants are more established they are thriving like crazy. **PHLIZON if you're reading this and want to sponser me a 600W I would not be sad or upset....LOL**While this review may not be technical over the specs of this particular model, overall I am extremely satisfied with my Phlizon 1500W High Power Series LED Grow Light and if my grow room ever expands, Phlizon will be on my purchase list.Fan in the shell is quiet and does the job of cooling the lights from overheating. Amount of light emitted is perfect and direct. Got the 1500 and hangs easily and is sturdy. Does not dry out plants to the point of scorching the plant and roots. Overall, definitely a returning customerThe light is so red it is difficult to monitor the progress. The fan is ridiculously loud. Overall we have moved one as far as LEDs, do yourself a favor and spend your money on a newer light with no fans.Little leery because not UL listed. Makes me nervous to leave it on when I’m not home. Very bright, and warms up a 4x5 room about 10 degrees. Plant is now experiencing a little heat stress. But have had very good luck with the 600w version, and this has already doubled my harvest.Light is bright. Will do the job. But even with all the built in fans, this light runs really hot. If your in a colder environment it will be great otherwise too hot.The lights are bulky, LOUD, and heavy. These lights were difficult to do anything with. Fans also made it unstable and extra care needed if spraying foliage as to not let mist be sucked in the fan. Spent $50 more on a more popular brand and my plants made drastic improvements and needed changes in 2 days. One week later got another because I was so happy (they can also be daisy chained and run same amount of light on all lights) . A complete game changer. It's also a huge decrease on current.I really wanted to like these lights, and I put the research in...... Sadly, they got me.When I received this light, I first tried to set up the Temperature control. From the directions, it wasn't obvious where the switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius. The directions are not written as English as a first language, and I didn't realize there was a bar stand to pull out to just set freely on the counter. When I looked online, the switch was clearly on the back, not behind the stand. I was frustrated and gave this product a poor review. My husband found this switch in less than a minute. Having written the review and giving them 1 star, the Customer Service people were exceptionally responsive. I was delayed in revising my rating, and the customer service people were very sympathetic. I give them 4 stars for being responsive. I'll get the light put up in the next week and probably revise the review after I've actually used the light.I got mine yesterday and have been really impressed so far. I cant account for long term use just yet but as for quality packaging and product at first impression, I can say a few things. I was actually impressed when I got it. I wasn't even expecting as much as I received. the packaging seemed it was just shy of bullet proof lol but it shows they care about getting you the product intact. The light did function when I tested it as well as blinding my wife and daughter for a good thirty minutes. Some reviews complain about the fan noise but its not as noticeable as my running AC and its basically white noise in the background. Also it has an expensive feel to it in terms of quality but yet very reasonably priced. Overall I'm very impressed so far and WILL be buying more of these. I bought this light along with a tent to grow some tomatoes and peppers as a hobby with my daughterHas virtually no canopy penetration , very light airy buds. Do yourself a favour and get a QBLight is advertised as having both switches for veg and bloom. It does not. All it has is on/off button. Power lead is extremely short and the 3 fans are almost noisy to the point where you are tempted to bin the unit for your good old Hps. The only good thing is the heat generated is minimal and not an issue. Which increases the annoyance of the 3 pc fans! Makes me ask if the fans are actually needed or was there concern these leds would run far hotter? This is the first time using an LED grow light as it's my first time growing food and flowers indoors thanks to the British weather; the last of a failed vegetable crop from dying and a plethora of plants for landscaping. At first I thought it was looking OK, but then I noticed stunted growth, especially vertical growth and foliage. So I did little investigation and tested the wavelength of Lumens per square metre and to my shock, at just a few feet above the tops of the plants the bloom light barely reached 11000 Lumens which is extremely poor. Ful spectrum barely peaked 15k lumens. So upon calculating the micromoles per m/2 realised I need to buy another 1200w with full-spectrum lights on, to measure up a 3ft x 3ft space to deliver the right amount of Lumens for my plants. So if you have a small space within 3.5ft m/2 and need to deliver adequate Lumens to your plants avoid anything below 2000w. Below that and you'll barely see any growth beyond 50% vegetation. To be honest, having seen the COB series now, i'd opt to buy one of those at 3000w seeing as the output is significantly higher. This 1200w is 650 umol/m2 whereas the COB 3000w is well over 2000 umol/m2. Use one of these 1200w for seedlings and primary vegging as from what i've seen that's really all they're good for.As of now since i can't afford such a light, i'll throw the veg back outside to harden off a bit and see if they'll take. Aside from that once the flowers are a decent size they'll be bedded and the artificial method turned off and retired until next year with just flowers and bulbs. May even try growing some house plants too. This is my 2nd philzon light purchase, the first one being a 900w which is a great little light, I have now upgraded my space so needed to upgrade my light and decided that i would get an other philxzon because they are great value for money and they do everything they promise! couple this with great delivery times, great customer service and fantastic value for money, i wont allow any lights near my plants if they are not a philzon. i will be doing a full review vlog on over on my channel in the next few weeks where i will give a full product review. But in my opinion, Philzon is the best way to go for considerate gardeners. Well done Philzon, keep up the great work :) canagirl.Advert says double switch series.my 1200w did not have switch
